One of my favorites, Sizzling Seafood’s sinigang na ulo ng salmon sa miso. Sinigang has a sour-based soup, usually with either fish, pork ribs, beef, or shrimp.

  1. Im not a paid advertisement for Sizzling Seafood either but people, you have to try it. Since im a kuripot eater, i want to get good value for my hard-earned cash. And, I found it in SS-it’s a hole in the wall found in the mall. For its price you get good, hot, sour soup (that’s good for 2), tasty maya-maya or salmon head that makes you want to nibble it to make it last (cats will hate you for leaving them with nothing to lick), and rice served in a cute niyog cup. Dont worry, you dont have to eat using the cup. They have those green plastic plates found in every food court. And for another finger-licking hole in the wall eatery story, try eating at the old (as in my parents’ kind of old) Wah-sun, near Carriedo. It’s another dining adventure too but that’s another story for another day, he he he.

  2. i agree. most of the time they give me one half of a head more than usual. i dunno why. but i always feel like i get my money’s worth when i eat there.
