There are many ways Filipinos cook lengua (ox tongue) but I think my favorite is this, Lengua de Pastel. It’s the one with white mushroom sauce.

this is not pastel de lengua, this is lengua con champignon or ox tongue with mushrooms. pastel de lengua has a pie crust on top, pastel in spanish literally means cake.
